Amanda Dao, DO is a board-certified general surgeon and vein specialist with fellowship training in cosmetic surgery. She sees patients in our Cosmetic Vein Clinic with a particular focus on spider veins and cosmetic vein treatment. Dr. Dao combines her surgical training with an aesthetic approach to patient care. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to spider veins, she evaluates each patient’s vein pattern, concerns and cosmetic goals before developing an individualized treatment plan.
Her philosophy is centered on helping patients feel more confident while maintaining a physician-led approach to safety, appropriate patient selection and realistic expectations. In addition to cosmetic vein care, Dr. Dao’s surgical and cosmetic training allows her to evaluate and treat selected other concerns, including lipomas, benign moles and other minor surgical conditions.
